UMKC's IT department finally figured out that I've been using SoulSeek. Peer-to-peer programs are apparently a no-no. They sent me an email, so I've discontinued use of that program as per their request. Not willingly, but I kind of like having high-speed internet access five days a week. Sure, I could go to the local library in theory, but in reality I can't. There's a story behind that; I've probably mentioned it before.
I wonder why it took them a year and a half to get around to sending that email? At any rate, I'm rather aggravated.
