I'm slowly aging.

My mother's birthday was on Friday. If you care to know, she's 44. I got her a card and a Scrabble game, which I proceeded to beat her at. Had horrible luck with the letters I drew, and she did also, but I still managed about 260 or so.

My birthday's coming up on December 17th. I'll be 20. Not nearly as much of a landmark event as being 21, but whatever. I'll celebrate by taking the weekend off from work and eating cheesecake. Steak, shrimp, and lobster sound good, as well as anime. Or perhaps sushi. I could go to Red Lobster, but I'm always doing that. McCormick and Schmick's is too expensive, plus it's way too crowded on the Plaza on Friday nights anyways. Feel free to celebrate my birthday by drinking as much caffeine as I require for basic functioning:
* 6-to-8 cups of coffee for breakfast
* 4 cans of pop throughout the day
* large caffeinated drink at lunch

Sometimes I add extra. Like 2-to-4 cups of coffee in the evening, and more cans of pop. I drink too much pop, and don't exercise, which means I can't lose weight like I normally would with my current eating conditions.

Cosmic (or Jeff, whatever), I've got Kino's Journey coming through the mail courtesy of NetFlix. I'll let you know what I think of it.

Will make a stop at Best Buy today, methinks. Will buy Azumanga Daioh #6 today. Still debating about GetBackers and PeaceMaker. Samurai Champloo, directed by the esteemed Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga) streets in January, about the same time as Gungrave #4. I think I might start that series as well. I still want to buy Serial Experiments Lain.

In completely unrelated news....I'm growing my hair out again. Decided not to cut it all off again for several years. People tell me I look better with short hair, but since they're not paying for my haircuts, I just disregard their comments.
