No Witty Headline

Today there shall be yet another of my movie get togethers. So far only one person I invited can't come, but a few others haven't called back. That's not surprising.
So I went to the Old Port yesterday with a good friend of mine. It was raining. And you know what they say... When it rains, it pours. Yes, it friggen poured all the day. Now, Friday, the sun is out and everything is dry and warm. Interesting.
The dance Slap Dash was supposed to play at was postponed until January 20th. And we, Slap Dash, are going to enter the 22nd annual Rock Off. We can only play two original songs. So far, we have one original tune down, and the bassist and I think that that song might not be a winner. I hope that as a band we can just sit down, no instruments, and go over all our written material to decide what is the best.
Since 2005 is almost at its end, I'll list my top favorites of this year:

Top Movie:
Walk the Line

Top Album:
Born to Run Remastered, Bruce Springsteen
&
The Band, a Musical History

Top Band:
Slap Dash (we'll be great, just you see...)

Top Memory:
Camp Hawthorne, Arts Session

Top Concert:
John Fogerty

Top Song:
Devils & Dust, Bruce Springsteen

Top Quote:
C: "I'm laconic, you should know that by now."
J: "LOL"
J: "Whoa wait, you're an Aquarius."

Yes, those are all the things that mattered most to me in the year of 2005. Maybe 2006 will be just as eventful...
