oh great, that's juuust what this country needs. tighter rules in hopes of curbing corruption.

so did you see that thing on c-span last night where alito's swearing in was discussed? this one guy had so much to tout on this guy and he just owned the rest of the panel.

in this case, it's a good thing...

it's putting restrictions on flying politicians around on fancy vacations and treating them expensive dinners and the such...

i didn't see it but damn i wish i had...

oh it was so funny i wish i could remember the name of the guy.
the lawyer speaking in favor of alito was the lawyer for time/warner (had pronounced W. as the man of the year????!!) and had previously studied under alito.
ugh.
