there is a one in three chance that tania could recover if she comes out of the coma. whether she will come out of the coma is another question... but at least there is some glimmer of hope. her children are convinced they will not lose her, i hope they are right.
everyone has been very supportive. when i broke down, i had so many friends right by my side. thank you.

my professor for WWI history class said (in his domineering thick greek accent) "it's like it is a dog eat dog world out there and you are wearing milkbone underwear." quite possibly one of the most humorous sentences uttered out of someone's mouth that i have heard in a very long time. he is absolutely brilliant... and very cycnical, which is why i think we get along so well.
time to read, it seems the purpose of my existence...
