if you havent read harry potter but are planning to, dont read this.
HP 5 at midnight. and only like 11 days til the final book!! how is this possible? how can harry potter be over? i feel like im graduating hogwarts, never to see my classmates again. i might cry after this one, depending on the outcome. its too much to handle. basically harry potter is all we talked about at work today. its all i can think about. its all i want to think about! HOW CAN A FANTASY SERIES OF NOVELS BE SO AWESOME!!!? ive heard so many hypotheses on the ending, i'll be surprised if i havent at some point heard the actual ending.
one thing that bothered me when i last read book 6: after dumbledore gets a face full of avada kadavra and harry goes and chases down snape, he tries to duel him. snape completely owns him. literally, snape was mocking harry the whole time. thats not what bothers me. its that then at dumbledore's funeral, harry is talking to his friends about what hes gonna do next, and he says something along the lines of "im gonna destroy all these horcruxes then hunt down and kill voldemort... and if severus snape gets in my way, then too bad for him." yea, ok harry. after you just put on the clinic of how not to kill somebody, you start talking trash. that's harry's hugest character flaw: he is completely retarded. he's also a jerk to his friends. like 100 times throughtout the series he makes hermione cry by yelling at her. she basically does his homework for him for the 6 years to date, and yet he's a jerk to her. i cant wait to see the infamous hissy-fit he throws at the beginning of the 5th book on the big screen.
