(no subject)
I think I'm about 95% over my strep throat. It's been at this stage the past day to day and a half. The worst is over with and that's what really counts. It still feels a little scratchy from time to time and sometimes feel as though something smallish is stuck in my throat. Also when I yawn and when I sneeze, it has a little pain with that. I'm hoping that will clear up by the time my antibiotics run out, if it doesn't, I duno if I should ask the doctor about it or if it's all right or what.
I bought the new Janet CD on Tuesday. Took me a coupla listens to really get into it though. Mostly cos I was preoccupied with other things while listening to it. About the 3rd or 4th time though I started hearing the distinctions of the songs. At first it did that thing where they all kinda sound alike. But I think that's past. I like it though and before long I'm sure I'll fall in love with it like most her other CDs. I hope she's gonna have another concert that goes to DVD with this tour too. (I'm assuming she has a tour planned although I haven't heard.)
Yesterday I rented Something's Gotta Give and Full Ride. I hadn't heard of Full Ride before and thought that it sounded interesting (almost a little too much like A Walk To Remember) and had the cute Riley Smith in it so I gave it a go. I shoulda gave it a go all right, right out the window. It was pretty bad and I can see why I hadn't heard of it. It had a coupla good moments but otherwise it was a very poor and cheap imitation of AWTR. So I wouldn't recommend it unless you really just wanna stare at Riley for an hour and a half, even then I'd not recommend it. :P Something's Gotta Give was good. A little too long and strung out though but it was enjoyable. I didn't like Amanda Peet in it, I felt someone else coulda played her part. She just didn't look like she belonged. The first hospital scene with Jack after his heart attack (not spoiling anything!) was good stuff.
April looks like a good month for movies coming out on DVD. Cheaper By The Dozen, Kill Bill: Volume 1, Timeline (maybe), Win A Date With Tad Hamilton, Big Fish, Love Actually and Stuck On You.
I wanted to see Walking Tall today but decided against it. Wanted to get home in time to watch the Braves (even though they got stomped by Boston. :( )game. Maybe next weekend.
I think I'm gonna clear out all my icons or at least most of em and start anew. Got a number of pics that'll hopefully turn out good as icons. We'll see. Might work on some of em right now, though I do need to get to bed. I think my nephew is gonna be here tomorrow along with my niece. Need to be rested up for that or else my niece will make me go off on someone. heh
Finally keithrj997 and I have a community for the gay/bi/whatever wrestling fans. I know I have at least a few wrestling fans on my friends list so if you're interested join. Nothing's going on in it right now but that's only cos it's me and him as members so far. haha I promise it'll get kicking as soon as others join up. We're hoping it's gonna be a popular place for those who enjoy that kinda thing. So go ahead, join up and start posting.
