Our trip to Malta
We could not believe our luck. We can debated for quite a while whether to take a trip back to Canada this Christmas, but in the end decided that, as this was likely to be our last winter in Europe, to take a trip over here somewhere. Josh from the year I went to the Cas Hen field school lives there, so along with all the archaeology and history, we chose to go there. As it turned out, if we had gone to Canada, due to the snow we likely would have ended up staying wherever we flew into and not gotten much visiting done at all. The weather in Malta was forecast to be rainy but warm for the whole week, and it did indeed rain, but apparently only at night. Yay! There was one day where it rained but it happened to coincide perfectly with the time it took to drive from Mdina to Valleta, so, we didn't even get wet!.
