Mm... Mm is actually a word... it is an official expression of consideration... so consider this... what happens when you mix an Irish man with Hamburg and some random people who he meets in Hamburg? Well I guess nothing spectacular... but let me ask you, have you ever tried to sell two girls to a groups of Christian revellers for 90 Euros (I don´t exactly know how Christians revel but I´m sure they have fun)? Have you ever eaten raw mince meat on a a baguette with onions and a touch of black pepper and salt? Have you ever been disappointed when the Landlord of one of your favourite pubs tells you that he has no whiskey left because you drank it all?
I guess now it´s just a typical weekend.
One thing to try though is asparagus... not the typical green stuff but the white one... trust me, you´ll thank me. You´ll also wonder why your piss smells so much when you go to the toilet later!!!
I´ve been in Hamburg only 4 months... my german is incerdibly bad but it is getting better... I fell in love with Hamburg last January... I came back in March and June and July and then I got a chance to work here for a year. I have a sensible job which is strange because I declared my sense at the airport when I arrived and the customs man shook his head and said to me "ich muss dass nehmen!" So now I have no sense at all.
Why Hamburg? Well I can´t explain... Ít has a huge red light district but I have no desire for prostitution or sex shows. I do like pubs that are allowed to stay open as long as they want... I just hope my health plan covers a liver transplant...
I met some strange people at the weekend... well one strange person... her name was Birgit... it´s a horrible name but common here... she looked Irish... she spoke english and she could drink and dance... we had fun... I stayed with Phoebe that morning... my apologies for being so drunk... but I think she understands... when she arrived at my door at 4am this morning I understood too.
Anyhow... gotta go and pretend to work
