Back to normal business - and Happy International Women's Day and Fettisdagen!
Dad was doing slightly better today. He's still not really contactable or lucid, but he's started to move his eyelids and even opened his eyes and almost focused them a few times. He's breathing well, but still lots of phlegm. I was there from 10:30 until 15:30 when my sister-in-law arrived and took over the watch.
Since he was stable and pretty much just sleeping, mum and she came home around 18:30, and we ended up celebrating the fact that dad was doing slightly better and the two important days in one by eating a
semla. Also, by chance, my brother called from New York just while we were having the semlas, so was a nice family moment there. We also brought out the old black March cats that my sister made as a child, and the gang of springtime witches, and thus decorated the flat for the coming spring. There IS some warmth in the air, and the seasons are changing, even if they say there might be snow during the weekend. I've changed my train ticket yet again, so won't leave for Lund until Sunday.
Here's the late thought-of and taken photos of the semlas (thus the lack of semla tops!), March cats and Spring Witches.
