Yeah, I didn't make it to that french lit. class today. And I think the odds are pretty low for me staying home tomorrow as well. I just want to stay home and vegetate for a while. I did make it to the gym for the two hours of manning the front-desk tonight. And I also cleaned our staircase, since my neighbours staged an intervention two days ago and knocked on my door and wondered why I hadn't done my weeks of cleaning.. yeah, hadn't told them about dad and all that. I've hardly been back here in Lund so can't say that cleaning the outer staircase have been a priority while here. But today I did my share of the monthly toil, so I dare them to complain again until April! After the gym I went over to my sister's place for dinner. She came back from Gothenburg today and it was nice to catch up on her experiences with dad and the hospital. We do feel much more hopeful now.
So a little bit of ordinary life for me today, and I think I'll keep it like that tomorrow as well. I'm sure I can make up for those two missed classes somehow.. I even did some fannish stuff yesterday, when I caught up on the latest six episodes of Community. My Abel and Troy love is stong!
I also read the two (!) fanfics available on AOOO for
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (the book). I have a feeling the scarceness of fic will change pretty drastically when the film finally arrives.. Both fics where bloody marvelous, and centred round Jim Prideaux. And I really hope there will be another chapter in
this 'verse. Bill Roach need some love too. I should continue with the next Smiley novel.
