Summer heat
Still temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius here and today practically no wind, so even my usually rather cool flat turned into a baking oven. And the spinning class tonight was crazy! Everyone came out totally wet with sweat and I am so tired I just want to sleep. My body aches all over, and I've drunk so much water.
Not much else going on. I watched the latest SGA on Saturday, and liked it very much. But I'm looking forward to the new The Middleman tonight even more, even if I won't be able to watch it until tomorrow, what with the time difference etc.
I read Much Obliged, Jeeves yesterday, perfect light summer reading, and an interesting contrast to Waugh's Decline and Fall which I finished this week-end as well. Waugh, though good and fun in many ways, actually made me rather depressed, and that was why I felt the need for Wodehouse. I don't think I've read a Jeeves book in at least 10 years, but they are great fun. I was crazy for them in my early teens. With all the watching of the tv series we've done lately it is kind of interesting to go back to the source.
