Hm, I'm actually rather disappointed with Dr Horrible's sing-along-blog. Don't get me wrong, still a lot of love for Neil Patrick Harris, but come on, this is JOSS, he used to be better at writing the females, or didn't he?
Seriously, has the girl character done anything but been a good angel-in-the-homeless-shelter pretty girl? Collecting names for a petition? Sure. But come on! Couldn't she at least have a secret identity as a Robin Hood-esque insurance fraudster? Or maybe occupy the building with help from Dr Horrible? Just you know DO something instead of being the passive foil and usual damsel-in-distress that the hero and villian fight over. Especially in episode 2 where Captain Hammer seems to want her just because Dr Horrible saw her first. God I'm tired of the repressed homoerotic triangle theme. Make the girl awsome for a change. Typical fanboy production. I am most displeased
Heading off to the spinning class very soon. Thank god, I need to move a bit after sitting practically still for tw days.
