So my sister and I have finally managed to watch the last few episodes of CSI season 8, and for once I wasn't spoiled for that ending! One could see it coming from quite early in the last episode, but it still packed quite a punch. Sad but interesting I suppose. I did enjoy episode 16, with the tv-diva and all the meta stuff, even if it was almost too over the top, and episode 12 with those three interesting colds *g*. I wonder how they will drag the show on for another season, what will all the rumours about even more actors leaving and new faces joining. Who knows when we'll see it if that SAG strike takes place anyway.
Since I apparently can't watch any TV without my slashgoggles on, I am of course a Nick/Greg girl at heart. I just find it so sad that there is this rather large fandom out there, yet so few good stories, or at least so difficult to find them. I know I've complained about this before, but I'm spoiled from the outpun in SGA fandom. Why, oh why are CSI fans so different? In my latest foray into CSI fandom I at least found
geekwriter143, and her collection of stories over at
Indulgence. I had read a few before, but loads of fun stuff there. Some pretty good essays on fandom as well. Oh for ficwriters who really CAN write.
In other news (yes that means tonight's spinning update) we had yet another new trainer for tonight's class. And she was fierce! Oh my god it was though, and kind of cleverly planned to make you strech yourself to the very limit with the music. I will be dead tomorrow.
