Angry Puppy, Canada and BSG

Second update tonight, just because I ended up watching the Angry Puppy vlog nr 21. They ended it with a list of their top-10 DILFS, wherein BSG's Helo was number 1, and in the vlog they have this truly wonderfully fangirlsh* conversation after having given the main criterion. There is this little extra fact about Helo (or rather the actor that plays him) that just jumps out:

Lee: And I think he is from the Yukon!
Marc: WOW - that's hot - see!

Yepp, Oh Canada wins again. Admit it, that SO describes a lot of fannish reactions. And Lee shaved his head to look more like Helo. *g*
Even I as a very minor BSG fan see the true fantastic-ness that comes of being from the Yukon. God, Due South has destroyed me in so many ways..

*) I use "fangirlish" here not to make Marc & Lee into girls, or to derogate fangirls, but more because I do think there is a major difference between "fangirlish" and "fanboyish" behaviour that has nothing to do with the actual sex of the person doing it. This has been discussed elsewhere much more eloquently, and I wish I had a good link to post. Instead I want to pin-point the glee and pure JOY both of the guys show in the quoted conversation - that elusive Cixousian jouissance perhaps? ;-)
THAT is the essence of "fangirlish" for me.
