More Angry Puppy and general geekery
Wednesday means new episode of my favourite geek vlog Angry Puppy. This time with Hellblazer bisexuality and a few movie reviews. I need some more John Constantine in my life.
My 2 new SO-DIMM 1G RAM cards arrived today and it was extremely easy to change them. From 2x256MB to 2x1G is a good upgrade. I was a bit worried it would be more complicated than it was but I got great help from this page. They have excellent run-throughs on how to fix a lot of problems with your computer. I hope my extended memory will help this laptop to survive a few more years. My darling Dell Inspiron 6000 turns 3 years old in March, and it kind of shows. Maybe firefox wont keep freezing up quite as often.
I've been collecting and sending so many packages over at the local post office-cum-gas station that at least one of the guys know my name now. No need for ID any longer which is kind of sweet but also a bit scary. Yeah it's the cute guy, and I really have been there too often but I promise it's not like that SGA fic where Rodney orders lots and lots of books from Amazon just because the DHL guy is John. Perhaps I wish it were though *g*.
