Back home again.

My brother and his wife slept in my flat last night, and today I went to see them off at the train station for further travel to Kastrup and their flight to Paris. I'll see them again in two weeks, when I join them in Paris, so it didn't feel as melancholy as it often does. I'm really looking forward to going away for a longer period, even if Paris isn't at it's best during the summer. Everything is better than Lund at  the moment.

We talked a lot about my brother's future plans, if they should stay in France or move back to Sweden. I think Gothenburg would feel rather bleak after Paris, and the job situation is probably even worse here. I'd try to apply to the U.N in Geneva, and why not Great Britain. If I end up in the U.K this autumn/winter it would be nice to have them around somewhere. My brother is very fond of Edinburgh and I've several friends who have moved or will move to Scotland. But it's difficult to know. The only thing one can do is to apply for jobs all over the place and see if it leads anywhere. I can't see myself staying in Sweden, and that's probably why I find it even harder to see my brother and his wife here.

We'll see where we'll end up. I'm pretty sure my sister will go back to Geneva, but I'd prefer to live in an English speaking country. There are a few to chose between after all. And it also depends on if I concentrate on applying for jobs and work for a few years before doing a Master. I do think that's the best approach at the moment. But first, summer in Paris.
