[Marceline quickly shoves Hambo back in his box, closing the lid so PB can't get a chance to see him. She is not letting Peebles see her like this again.]

Like attracts like. [meaning she is able to recognize marcie's soft fluffiness because she is, herself, both soft and fluffy, laser swans and power fists aside. feel free to interpret as you like, though.]

Besides, tough and fluffy aren't mutually exclusive. Seems to me that, every time you shapeshift, you always end up with soft, fuzzy fur. It's like you're just begging for someone to pet you or something!

Shows what you know! I'd prove to you that not all my badass monster forms are "soft and fuzzy", but this stupid town took 'em away. [Hell yeah, she'd turn into her giant blob form and anyone reading this better get their minds out of the gutter right now.]

Just because they're covered in fur doesn't mean they're cute cuddly animals! I could tear you to shreds in seconds with any one of those forms.
