Well this weekend was a pretty cool one. Friday I didn't really do jack. I got a 12 pack and just sat around and watched tv. Saturday was cool, but could have been seriously bad haha. Dave and them came and picked me up around 5, and they had to be at Cafe Revolucion at 7 and had to be on stage at 7:40. Well somehow we got lost on the way and equipment almost didnt make it there and things sounded like they were going bad. Then literally ten minutes before the show starts we get there. Everyone hauls ass to take stuff inside and set it up and whatnot. Once they started playing though, you would've never known they almost wouldn't have made it. The show went good, and even though there wasn't a big crowd there, the reaction they got was pretty good. The after Red Star played, we went outside while some gay sounding punk band was playing. Then after them was what seemed to be the band everyone was waiting for, The Y Equals. These guys put on a damn good show and sounded damn good. I'm gonna try and find some of their music and put it on
tuesday_tunes so you guys can hear them for yourself. Their drummer is pretty bad ass too (he was voted best drummer in San Antonio for 2004 in Metal Edge's Best of). Then Naos Project played and, like always, kicked ass. After the show me and Carlos talked to them for a bit. Then it was off to Double D's to tie one on. Good times were had. Then I wake up today, get home, and bum around. All in all a pretty good weekend.
I saw a commercial for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and that game looks awesome. I so can't wait to get it. That game is easily gonna eat up 3 or 4 days out of my life haha.
Well its already 5 in the morning, so I'm gonna hit the hay. Take it easy everybody.
