More Ozzfest Stuff!

Well along with Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Anthrax being on Ozzfest, it is always being reported on blabbermouth.net and smnnews.com that Black Label Society, Killswitch Engage, Rob Zombie, and Mudvayne are also gonna be confirmed for the summer tour. Personally, I think that sounds pretty bad ass, but I also got a little bit of thoughts as to whether or not it was true.

BLS- Of course they are gonna be on. Zakk Wylde is pretty much always opening act mainstage, so it shouldn't come as a surprise. Not that it's a bad thing, cause BLS always brings it and puts on a badass show.

Killswitch Engage- These guys i've been on the fence as of late. Now don't get me wrong, their first album kicks major ass. Second album is kinda iffy on each song. Howard Jones really does kinda bring down the metal of the band with all his melodic singing, but their live show doesn't dissapoint. Plus being on Taste of Chaos with The Used and bands like that doesn't really help them out much (not dissing on The Used, but it's just not the same genre). Their next album will really make or break this band on whether or not they are gonna stick to their metal guns, or if they are gonna change their style (and not for the best either).

Rob Zombie- Rob Zombie never dissapoints on live shows. This guy brings it and leaves it all on the stage. If you've never seen Rob Zombie live, you don't know what you are missing. What kinda makes this seem like weird news is that he had said he was gonna take a break from music to focus more on his movie career, and with The Devils Rejects coming out, it would seem he would be busy with that. Oh well, if it's true, it doesn't dissapoint me the least.

Mudvayne- Now this band I've been wanting to see for a LONG time. If they do Ozzfest and headline second stage, I wouldn't doubt if the pit went insane! Hearing their new stuff, it sounds like they are going for the heavier sound they had on their first album. IF ANYONE HAS A COPY OF THEIR NEW SONG "FUCKING DETERMINED" LET ME KNOW, CAUSE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT SONG LIKE CRAZY!

Well so far, Ozzfest looks like it'll definetely be worth the ticket price.

As for other news, Red Star Inc., Test Nein, and Last Chance Forever will be playing at Hermann Sons Hall in Knippa, Tx. For more info. go to www.myspace.com/redstarinc

Well that's all for me. Take it easy everyone.
