Visitors!
The most peculiar thing happened yesterday. I was strolling around town, and noticed that Purrl was amiss that day. Being one of my favourite townies(She gave me her picture to prove how much she likes me!!), I ran straight to her house to make sure she wasn't packing up to leave!
Upon entering her home, I noticed everything was as it should be. And there she was standing in the corner. So I went up to her and she suggested we have a play date over at my house! HOW COOL.
So she asked me to pick a date and time. I picked the same day and made it for 5pm. Seeing it was 4.30pm she declined saying she would need to put on a new outfit and get freshened up first. So I suggested 6pm, which she agreed to and said she'd see me later. I must admit I thought it was a joke! In Animal Crossing Gamecube version I never received a visit from anyone! Obviously they put in a bit more thought for the DS version.
So as I cooked my dinner I turned on my DS at 5.55pm and waited inside my house. At 6pm when the town bells finished chiming the cleverly written Mario tune I stole off the net along came Purrl into my house! How delightful. She didn't do much but walk around and stare at my belongings. But it was a novelty all the same! :D :D :D
On another note, I have started harvesting and replanting fruit to... make my orchids grow? Embiggen? Whatever. So yeah, I got no money today from my tasty fruit, but will reap the success in 3 days time. YAY!
And Brewster (the barrister) offered me pigeon milk in my coffee this morning?!?! Disgusting. Won't be putting that crap in the coffee after dishing out 200 bells for a cup!!
