Still boogery
I'm now ending day 6 of Snot-o-rama 2008 and after four days of zithromax, my sinuses (my left sided ones in particular) are producing snot at an alarming rate. I also now have a mild amount of pain over that sinus system. Thank goodness garbage day is Thursday or else the house would be overrun by used tissues. It's nasty. I can't remember having a sinus infection like this before.
I left the house yesterday for about an hour before I had to come home because I was whupped. Today I was out for a few hours and it's 11 PM and I'm not in my PJs yet so I'll consider this an improvement. I went to the bank, the post office, Starbucks and Wegmans today. I got through some crap on my research (but am still trying to figure out a whole bunch of stuff and my brain is panicking at the mere thought of it) and read a bunch of the neonatology book I snarfed from our department library (I start in the NICU on Monday and remember very little from the last time I was there a year ago). I came home, made some dinner, and tackled my flex account crap. I had thrown all my doctor visit invoices and prescription receipts into a folder starting last January. I didn't renew my flex account this year, mostly because I forgot I had the money there and because I'd rather use the money now than have to get it all again at the end of the year. Going through everything, I was able to account for all the prescriptions I got this year and a few co-pays as well. That'll be a nice check when it comes. I watched Idol and House (hi, Janel Maloney! I was wondering what you'd been up to!). The previews for house after the Super Bowl on Sunday also look to be kick-ass.
Tomorrow I have to go into work. It's voluntary - admissions committee over at the medical school. It starts at 1 PM tomorrow instead of 3:30 PM because we are incredibly behind. I need to go in a bit before that to make some copies of all my receipts for the flex account stuff so I can get that crapola mailed and off my brain.
I was hoping to go skiing this week but if my snot production doesn't cease and desist, that's probably not the best idea. Oh well.
