Chilly for chili
Today was the perfect day to make chili. I used this recipe and it came out damn tasty. I made it a lot spicier than the recipe calls for, though.
I did damn near nothing this weekend. I was supposed to go to that benefit but no one showed up here to meet me. One of my friends thought it was on Sunday and the other one is AWOL. I ran errands and met my parents out for a drink last night while Chris was in Rochester. I was in bed long before midnight and slept in until 11 today. I did laundry, grocery shopped, and watched football. I should have done some lectures but screw it. Chris got a good chunk of the landscaping done today as the snow has nearly melted. My willow tree in the bucket still has some snow on her. :)
Short week - three days with a light one on Wednesday. We're leaving Wednesday after work to drive to the lakehouse and then we'll go to Floral Park on Thursday for Thanksgiving. We'll be back Friday because I'm on call on Saturday. As for right now, I'm going to bed. It's cold in here!
