Lavender & Chamomile Jelly

Over the weekend, the burping dog stirred up a batch of Lavender & Chamomile Jelly and offered it up to some friends who were game to give it a try.

i really hate to mar the delicate scent of lavender with meat or scones so i did the next best thing :

1) take 3 teaspoons of lavender jelly
2) put it in a cup of really ice cold water
3) stir
4) sip your personal cup of aromatherapy

absolutely lovely!

lavender ice cream - ember
lavender creme brulee - l'aigle dor

lavender & almond cookies - cedele

so i didnt really know that there's a lavender / chamomile jelly. so anyway - i thought it was refreshing (must be the lemon essence) and soothing .. except that i find it a little bit sweet. well, the level of sweetness is subjective.
