reminds me of our dilemma earlier this AY lol

anyway, i would think na when you do CSE parang it sort of covers na rin NE ng konti.. and mas-versatile ang CSE because you can do hardware, software and NE din pero maybe you won't be as good as NE grads sa networks and ST grads sa software engineering. pero i still think na kahit nag-CSE ka you can still be a programmer (CSE people usually -daw- program more efficient programs kasi amrunong sila assembly language and they know what the compiler is doing to their codes) or a network engineer. in a way, advantage to sa iyo because even if you graduate as CSE, you can do NE, CSE or ST depending on what job you land. the rest you can learn na as you go (hence the reason why hindi super importante mag-masters sa comsci unless you're gonna teach :| ) true, mdyo sayang nga lang if mag-gagraduate ka CSE tapos you just end up being a software engineer..

another advantage is yun nga, big time mga projects mo, your clients will also be big time. you can still work here naman rin sa country pero parang like hp, the company is here pero their clients are foreign. so pwede rin ganun.

ang maganda naman sa NE, it's a more immediate need kasi ang nangyayari now, most corporations are networked na and they need network engineers and admins. so bascially, everywhere you go basta may mga companies na ganun, may job and may demand for NE people.

ang pangit sa NE is you're limited to NE. sure easier in the long run pero sayang naman if everything you study now, in the end, you can be good at NE. parang right now, at entry level. mas-ok i think na mas-versatile ka para there are a lot of jobs open for you. tapos when you get into a job, learn the ropes and become better at it para you can move to a job with experience and in a way, naka-"specialize" ka na from experience, gets?

either way, i think na kaya mo naman bli eh whether CSE or NE. :P you've come this far bli tapos Dl pa! :P
