(no subject)
i need coffee. i haven't had it all week, and i think that i'm about to go through withdrawal. i didn't want to wake up at 8am this morning, but i did anyway. i have to go see grandma & pappa and say bye to them, then i'll come home and hang with mom & dad for a bit, then leave. i'll probably be on the road back to aiken by 12:30pm.
my pappa's birthday is tomorrow- i can't believe he'll be 83 though. he's still perking though- and he's just the best! :o)
i ate a lot for dinner last night- i think i surprised dad. mom made mashed potato patties, which i love, and i ate 6 of them. then i had 2 hefty helpings of broccoli & cheese, and peice of bread & butter, and a peice of cubed steak. it was delcious. had there been more, i could have probably been able to eat more potato patties. taste of heaven. :o)
my grandparents bought my dad this fingerprint reader for his computer- they gave it to him yesterday. from what dad read about it last night, it's going to be pretty awesome. the other night he & i were talking, and it about broke my heart when he came out and said that his eyes are much worse & that he really can't see much of anything straight on anywhere- his pereipheral vision is ok for the most part- that's how it is with dry macular degeneration. so if he can use the fingerprint reader to make his life easier, i'm all for it. :o) my dad's my boo. i just hate it though, that he's having more trouble these days seeing. i kind of knew it though when i saw him sitting in front of the computer with his nose on the screen so he could see the cars.
alright, headed to grandma & pappa's as soon as i brush my teeth & get rid of my gross morning breath.
