(no subject)
to think that a week ago today, we went looking for houses with no intent of finding anything to buy. however, a week later we've accepted offers, set a closing date, and am waiting to get the signed paperwork from the seller so we can proceed on to hunter mortgage to get our loan going. pretty freakin' sweet ass.
we went around today looking for storage buildings, and a dog run for the dogs. yes, we have a humongous backyard, but there is a pit bull & rottweiler next door, plus we live sord of close to whiskey road. here on palm drive, i was not down at all with a run for the dogs. but now, i'm down with it. i just want what's best for my babies. corey showed me how big it would be and stuff after looking at one, so i'm alright with it. they would only be in it during the day when no one is home. however, if one of us is home, they'll be able to run the whole yard. my main thing is that we're super close to whiskey road. plus the fact that pops said one day he saw the pit bull running around in the backyard when he was checking the house out on a lunch break, made me more for it too.
corey & i are also considering getting slipcovers for our recliners. we're not down with blue anymore. we want a bergundy in the living room. :o) it's gonna be pretty. :o) hopefully.
also pretty sweet ass is the fact that while grocery shopping at kroger this morning, we found rugs for $20. at kroger! :oP
i don't have to work tomorrow... wheee! i haven't made plans yet but you better believe i won't be sitting on my ass. i can't do that- i always have to be busy. the only thing i plan on doing so far is raking the front yard. i'm gonna call spca too to see if they do rabies shots. :o) i'm really not wanting to go spend $60 a pop, for each dog, just to get rabies shots & their stomachs poked. donnie needs a shot too. i'll just see if spca will do it though.
i'm hella tired. as soon as the blanket to our bed comes out of the dryer, i may crash. i'll probably get up when corey gets up for work, so i can have a nice long (productive) day before going back to work tuesday. oy.
