New Orleans
We had a great time at New Orleans. I wrote about our first day already, just wanted to post about a few highlights from the trip.

Currently they're broken up into the 3 days, but we may go back and sort them differently later. Either way, you can enjoy them. :)
We had a good time in the French Quarter, although we didn't see Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. :(
We were, however, fortunate enough to have a menckles sighting. She is still alive, and her boy does exist. :) She gave us a car tour around town, found us some po-boys, and then met us later after our plantation tour with her boy (he's also sometimes called Jeff), for dinner at a nice cajun place. After that, we walked around in search of some good jazz, but apparently Monday nights are not good for that. But it was nice to walk around and chat. :)
Tuesday we wandered around a little, then headed off to the airport. It was a long, but un-eventful flight through Atlanta (yes Georgia) back home.
Just after we got home, I called to catch up with ovrclokd. She was in town for a conference, so we made plans to meet up with her for dinner Wed night. Met her and her father for dinner at a wine bar around here, then they followed us back to the house for a tour. After all of the pictures, the posts (mine and other's), and hearing all about it at OTPs, she just HAD to see it. ;) And despite attempting to make them stay by getting them drunk(on Agavero), they headed back to the hotel because of some early stuff.
I must say, for anyone who hasn't met her father, you're definately missing out. He's a chatty and fun guy. :)
(I'll be backdating this post later, so that it fits in better, but I'll leave it to right now so people don't miss it. ;)
