This week
Brought to you by the letter H, for hectic, and the number 3 for the number of hours I spend in a car for the begining of the week.
This week is gonna be extremely long. I'm in all day meetings downtown for work. The project I've been working on got most everyone to come into town for a face to face meeting. So my Mon, Tue, and Wed consist of driving about 2 hours (with traffic) to get downtown to the IBM building, and sit in a conference room with about 5-6 other people, and discuss plans, refine them, etc. Luckly, this involves mostly compitent people, all working towards the same goal. We've got a few hard heads, but mostly okay. :) I do that for about 8-10 hours(with a few breaks for lunch and such). Then I get to get back in the car, but by the time all of that is over, its only about an hour drive home, because there is much less traffic by that point. (much less light too)
Tomorrow, one good thing, is that I will get an IBM badge, so I can actually get in the rooms when I go downtown in the future. :)
Wed should be the slow day for me, but I still have to go through all of that stuff, but I'm less involved in the meeting.
I really like working from home. Contrary to Sharon's belief, its not because I get to sit in my underwear all day long. Cause I actually enjoy going into the office and interacting with everyone(not in my underwear). What I don't like is the 3 hours in the car to accomplish that. :)
So, I'll be "hiding" more than usual for the begining of this week. :)
