Just very busy! :)

Got in Sunday morning here, and had trouble with the hotel. They didn't have my saturday resevation marked as late arrival, so Saturday night, they canceled it. *sigh* So I had to wait until 4pm to actually get a room! So once I finally got it, it was definately catch up time. And then we went out about 8ish for dinner. (that's early for dinner here)

Monday morning, we were supposed to meet downstairs at 11, and I got a knock on my door at 11:15 that woke me up. :) Luckly we needed two cars anyway, so the second car waited for 5 minutes while I got ready. (the advantage of men over women ;) The bad part of Monday was that I left my phone in the Remis (its a special taxi), but luckly, we called them, and they had it and would return it later. I ended up getting it Tuesday morning.

Monday was good, got lots of introductions, some presentations to get them started, and understanding where we're coming from. The hard part is that they don't have rooms that will effectively hold about 30 people. So it was a conference room made for about 10, maybe. So we had the projector, and people lined up around 3/4s of the table, then a second row of people all around the room behind them. I'm hoping we get better rooms for the smaller groups. We need about the same size room, but 3 of them, and I'm not sure that they have it.

And then after work, we all headed to a nice restaurant, and had a good time. The table I was at was the "fun" table. :) We were the ones that ordered most of the wine, and were the loudest, and laughing. :) We're having fun at the bonding part. :) But I think they've taken warmly to us, and they're participating and asking questions. They're helping us with our spanish, and we're helping them with their english. :) It works all around.

Today was another good day of presentations, getting more into each design we have. We were starting at a super high level, this is a little lower, and the next couple days is where myself and the other SME(Subject Matter Expert) really get into what they'll be doing. So they've been looking forward to doing that.

Then next week is where we break into smaller groups, and do hands on training. So that should be really good. They'll get a lot of expirience doing the stuff we need to, and I can work with them in person, which is really much better than over phones and stuff.

work, argentina
