His Lab results just came in for December:
Creatinine: 8.3 (up from 7.7)
BUN: 59
Phosphorus: 5.8 (is going up? he just started the binder last week)
Potassium: 5.5 (this hasn't been high, but now it is)
Glucose: 104 (a little high this time, he had probably just had a soda.. I need to ask him)
RBC: 3.56
Hematocrit: 30.7 (still waiting to hear from insurance company)
What in the world am I allowed to fed him? He can no long have high phosphorus foods or potassium. This is going to break him. I don't know what we will do. This is crazy. His creatinine is up that high.... I'm really afraid if it keeps jumping that he may not be able to make into Mid-January w/o starting dialysis. I don't know what to think or what to even say to him right now. I have to tell him these results when I get home today. This is not good.
