i might not be buying anything
for myself in a year; however, i have a little guy to buy for. really isn't buying for him buying for me anyway? it's not like he knows what he is wearing. like andy said the other day: he doesn't care if he's dressed cute it's for us. he still has clothes to wear that are currently too big/toys that are too advanced (so far he only plays in his
gym) but here are some of the brands i really like:
bla bla kids: can these dolls be any cuter? i am using the socks the fox in his monthly photos and i just ordered him figaro the birdie. love them!
mabo children's clothier: so far the things i have ordered are too big but i am really excited for him to wear them. great quality and style. love the long lean cut for my long skinny baby.
winter water factory: prints! love, love, love their prints (and lack of pastels).
janie and jack: they have a nice selection of dressy clothes for boys. however, some are too european for my tastes and girls clothes are obviously their target market. i love the things i have purchased and will continue to check out their collections. plus, next week we are going to a free photography session because of a purchase i made during their friends & family sale. nice.
hape: cute little wooden toys. i have a couple of the cars and planes ready for him (shh... some are from santa).
gap baby: i haven't tried their onesies yet but their pants fit my son very well. especially the "legging" style. also, they have the best baby socks.
carter's: i love the prints/solids and these onesies seem to fit my son the best. i have to be picky with these guys because some of their stuff isn't my style... the "mommy's little all-star" (ect) not so much.
pottery barn kids: this is no surprise to anyone. i've been a pottery barn fan for years. we registered there. i love everything they have. the colors and quality can't be beat. we even have sheets for when his crib transitions to a full size bed (they have sharks!).
circo: this is a brand at target. a lot of his 0-3 wardrobe is from this brand because it was nice, gender neutral, and i bought it before we found out. good quality for the price. sadly, their sizes don't go up much so i don't know if i'll buy anything else from them.
aden + anais: best swaddle blankets out there. period.
to be continued...
