30 Days of TV: Day 02
USA and Syfy are two channels that I think house some of the best gems on television. People don't really come across them because they are not major networks, but they have been the home of Eureka, Psych and Monk which are three of my favourite shows to date. Syfy also picks up reruns of all my favourite shows (Joan of Arcadia, Merlin) so these two networks, and of course Syfy in particular (even though I hate that they changed the name) are a great place to look to find amazing shows.
Eureka is the ultimate science fiction experience in a modern day setting. It's about as "normal" as you can get setting wise, so if you're looking for a regular TV drama with that extra scifi kick, you better check this show out. It has a great looking cast who are all amazing actors and despite it ripping out my heart at the end of every season, it always has me coming back for more. The characters are dynamic and interesting, there are huge plot wise changes all the time thanks to all the gadgets and gizmos, and there's just crazy and interesting story lines everywhere you turn. You should definitely give this show a gander if you haven't already.
