Still pretty knakered, but muddling through. Spent the weekend in London for the MCM Expo. The convention has a major anime focus, which leads to much bewilderment from those of us of an older persuasion. Especially the free hugs thing. All well and good someone coming up to you and askign if they could have a hug, but I find something creepy about a guy standing in the same spot for much of the show, waving a sign asking for hugs.
Also took a bit more of an organisational role, sorting out accomadation for everyone and being general xeno handler, which seemed to all go smoothly. Well, I haven't heard that we have been banned from going back there, at least!
Last night was performance I'd been waiting an age to see, since I got the tickets many moons ago. The second Mighty Boosh Live show, and the guys really topped themselves. Freeing themselves from having any plot of sorts, the show became a greatest hits of scenes, songs and characters, with plenty of twists (and gaffs) to keep it fresh. Just sucks that the souviner stand wouldn't take cards, and there was no way of getting cash in the theatre. Meant Sarah had to miss out on getting a t-shirt :(
