:: life :: Missing the Analogue

All in all, it's been a quiet week. The new car is running well, but it is taking some getting used to. After two years of the hulking, no power-stearing of the Skoda, I'm feeling a little disconnected to the Liana. The lightness of the stearing, the digital readout on the dash, the quietness in the cabin have lead my morning commutes to take on an almost floaty quality. One welcome addition is the increased poke of the engine, which should make the motorway runs more enjoyable.

Need to sort out the car's stereo, being saddled with a CD/Radio headunit which has the news and traffic report interuptions turned on, and seems to tune into a different radio station each time. Need to get some specialised keys to remove it from the dash, then I can get my mp3 stero in there.

Should be a fun weekend. Pixie and I will be joining mandalorean and toni_gurrrl for Andy's birthday, so plenty of Rock Band, motorbikes and a night out to Bogiez.
