highway to the danger zone
tonight was my first lip sync with Delta Zeta and we ROCKED hXc !

it was way fun, and i really feel as though i really got closer to my sisters as a result of our nightly practices and meetings for it.
we all did well, i'm so proud of everyone. and once i got out there, my nerves seemed to disappear. oh, our theme was Top Gun by the way, and we lip sync-ed and danced to "danger zone," "you've lost that lovin' feeling," "playing with the boys," "take my breath away," and lastly, "great balls of fire." our costumes were black tank tops and khaki/green/camoflauge pants or khakis, and we wore aviator glasses all week, too. you know we're gangstas. ;)
...and i got a most wonderful surprise at the end...
Alex came to visit me! yay!! :)
it was such a surprise to me! he totally had me believing it was next week i was going to meet him. it was great to finally meet the even greater guy who i'd been getting to know through lj all this time, and soo random, but he knows one of my most favorite lmu people, too...MARCOS, the mexican jesus! :D it makes sense that two awesome people would know each other. it was fun hanging out in ray's room for R-MAC, and sorry that i was dozing off for a while/not being my usually cheery and jumpy and excited self. i was pooped, but believe me i was pleased as punch to see you! thanks for coming to see me and support my lip sync, you are the bestest, and we will definitely go to placebo and hopefully your birfday show, tambien<3.
