Jesus CampAnd just think. They can vote in 2020. It's never too early to think about moving to Scandinavia.
I haven't updated this in six months, go me. What's new you ask? Well, I have a new job. I'm cooking third shift at Denny's. It's not so bad, half the week anyway, there's a few people I really like, most of whom are reading this so I have to say that. Last night began the downward spiral though, as I have to work with a white kid with cornrows. There haven't been all that many coworkers that I've instantly despised with such a fury, but god he just won't shut up. Ever. He makes beatbox noises occasionally even, and not well. I'm asking for a raise in the morning, no lie.
Last Tuesday
supersocialist and
techn0shibs came up to belatedly celebrate her 21st, Rhode Island style. Before that was St. Patrick's day, and a small party at
your_sorrow's hosted by yours truly. Definitely the most I've drank in a long long time. Throw in a game of Trivial Pursuit, and some of my favorite people finally gathered and I was a happy Matthew.
Now, I have to go practice, my band apparently has two shows booked in the next month and a half, and I'm scrambling to be ready. Wish my poor fingers (one of which is ensconced in the most badass of rings courtesy of
techn0shibs) luck, they're new to stretching this much. I think.
