She feels high and Georgina's the fucking drug and she knows she's lighting the match to disaster but she can't stop herself. Her hands are reaching towards the incandescent strobe lights and she's blue then green then red and it's all so intoxicating. They are on a table and her hips are swinging and she doesn't know how she got here but she doesn't want to get down.
"Isn't this better, Serena? It was fun sitting and telling stories but that's nothing compared to this."
All she does is nod and look deep into her eyes blazing with mischief and Serena can't help but revel in them. So when Georgina holds out her hand she doesn't hesitate to take it. Instantly her body feels warm and heady and she knows that she's got that smile on her face that promises of trouble but she doesn't care. On this table, with her hand in Georgina's, she feels so alive and she'll be damned before she has to give it up.
Besides, it's only one night, how much trouble can I possibly get in?
That's the last coherent thought she has before its all warmth and heat and the feel of Georgina pressed up against her front. Everything is brilliant and yet hazy at the same time and it's so beautiful that she wants to cry but crying doesn't do anyone any good. If you want to really enjoy something then you bask in it and you reach for it 'til it's yours. That's what Georgie taught her all those years ago and she hasn't forgotten.
She looks down at the crowd of men looking up at her and Georgina and smiles before grabbing her around the waist. Georgie's light is hers and she'll be the only one to burn in it tonight.
