Wine Country...nation...state...house without windows?

I really want to become an expert wine taster...I want to be totally arrogant in my vast knowledge of wine and wine making...this was ALL brought on by the movie "Sideways" and for those of you who have seen it, dont even TRY to tell me you didnt want to dip into a delicious bottle of Pino Noir after that movie!
i actually had my first pino experience last night...I loved it...I actually thought it was delicious...hahaha it was supposidely infused with Cherries, Raspberries, and black Peppers...all I know is that it made me dance like an irish hooligan after a few glasses and chugs at the bus stop...Shiree didnt take to the taste as much as I did, but Pino grapes are much more sour then concord...but anywhos...
its been a long time since my last pissed off post, and a few people that I have recently learned have blogs have given me a bit more faith in them...so all hope is not lost...
i dont understand how age is relative to your musical knowledge or appreciation of music...I do understand that a person who is 45 will have heard and experienced more music then me simply due to the fact that they have been surrounded by it for a much longer time...but just because I am younger, does not mean that I can not love music passionately and have a firm understanding of musical theory and concepts...does it?...I dont think so anyways...I think music is meant to be enjoyed by everyone of all ages...I feel like Estaban trying to sell the "gift of music to all people...children of all ages...adults from all walks of life...you know folks, after my accident I wasnt able to play the guitar for TEN years..."...ummm...cough...sorry...but YES music is personal...music does not have to be studied to be appreciated...RANT ends..............here.............
