Oh 2007...
1) Where did you begin 2007?
* Dan and I were living in our little apartment in downtown Portland on 5th.
* I was just beginning to get a sour taste in my mouth due to the functioning mechanisms of my schooling establishment.
* I was in the midst of working 3 jobs: a server at West Cafe, a marketing director at an injury and rehab center, and a research assistant for NCNM.
2) Where were you in school in 2007?
I was in my 1st year (and then beginning of my second year) at NCNM.
3) How was your love life by Valentine's Day?
I was in love with some Daniel Schales kid.
4) How did you earn your money?
Street corners...and/or the pre-mentioned 3 jobs...which over the course of the year altered into a medicinary assistant at Pettygrove and a expert juicer at a juice bar. WOO.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Thank goodness no. I did have to take Dan in to get his wisdom teeth out. Man, that kid is hilarious when he's jacked up on pain injections. (As a sidenote, this is the day I decided to destroy the Walgreen's corporation due to the fact that it took them 6 hours to figure out Dan's prescriptions.)
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Only minor ones that were traffic related and only ended in warnings.
7) Where did you go on vacations?
Roadtrip to Astoria with Dan and Dan Beck. Other than that...just Olympia and Seattle. What a sad year for travels.
8) What did you purchase that was over $500?
My tattoo. My Roland SH-201. The whole Rock Band setup.
9) What did you purchase that was over $1000.
My Jetta. My sweet laptop. School.
10) Did you know anybody who got married?
My adopted cousin and my college friend Jeremiah.
11) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Not that I can think of.
12) Did you move anywhere?
Dan and I moved to a townhouse up on NW 23rd. We initially lived with Kris and Kenz, then it was Kenz and Adam, then Kenz and Eve, and now Eve and Sarah Ruth.
13) What concerts/shows did you go to?
Rocky Votolato, Do Make Say Think, Explosions in the Sky, Eluvium, Minus the Bear, The Weakerthans, Flaspar, Dat'r...and others.
14) Are you registered to vote?
I am in Washington but not Oregon.
15) What reality television show do you wish you had been on this year?
The only ones I remember really watching were Rock of Love and Project Runway...so I suppose I'd go with Project Runway...however, I would probably get kicked off early because I have never made pants without a pattern and would fail miserably.
16) Describe your birthday?
Ninja party. Light up sword fights. Guitar Hero battles.
17) What's one thing you thought you wouldn't do but did in 2007?
Buy gaming consoles/video games for the first time in years.
18) What's one thing you wanted to do but didn't do in 2007?
Europe or Canada trip last summer.
19) What's one thing you thought you wouldn't do and regret doing in 2007?
Um...nothing. This year passed guilt free.
20) What has been your favorite moment?
All that I did was study all year.

I often put too many things on my plate.

The basic principles behind Chinese Medicine.

Nope.

Honestly, this entire year was mostly just a medical school blur. I guess the month of summer was my favorite.

Tokyo Police Club, Giraffe? Giraffe!, and the newest Minus the Bear and Modest Mouse albums.
