I'll Write A Book About It

My intentions to paint outside in the sun were fouled up by the on again off again rainstorms so I threw the canvas back on the art studio desk and took a vacation to see that boy of mine at work. Every time I visit I get treated like a princess. I sat at the bar and got a handful of free drinks and tasty treats thrown in my direction. Raspberry-lemon tortes, oatmeal raisin cookies, passion fruit tea, some frothy coffee drink, and a cup of coffee with a light lemon zing. I felt like a celebrity. Walking around getting a ton of free stuff just because of who I am. Ha. All and all not too shabby.

A plan was concocted to play capture the flag in the mall, but, by the time we all showed up at the pre-planned meeting spot, we were informed that there would be no games that day due to the fact that everyone, outside of Anton, Travis, Jeff, Dan, and myself, were drunk. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Seriously lame. So Jeff, Dan and I went to Barnes and Noble and bought a sweet hypnosis book. To hypnotize our friends. We'll just see how much they can drink when they are busy bocking like chickens.

In completely other news, Dan and I have been listening to the most obscure music lately. Madeleine Peyroux, Frank Sinatra, The Shins, Coldplay, Starflyer 59... Sure, I listened to a bit of Murder City Devils and The Faint today, but for the most part it's all been rather uncharacteristic selections. We must be going through a weird phase or something.

(Psst. I am so entirely in love with Daniel Schales. He is terribly good to me. He makes me laugh. And he has the best muscular consistency to date. Don't tell him though. This sort of information doesn't need to go public or anything.)
