I woke to the best possible company. Two days straight.
And even though I know it was just for a moment, it was really nice to be able to interact with someone so beautiful.
The Great Redneck Hope and Animal Hospital guys arrived to my house Thursday afternoon and, despite plans to steal certain house war flags or tour the wonders of downtown Olympia, we ended up doing laundry and running about in snowlord costumes. The show itself lacked the oomph I had anticipated, no fault of the bands mind you, but merely outside circumstances associated with the date at hand. The bands were all amazing outside of Red Light Murder, who nearly got my said person slapped with tickets due to smuggling alcohol into the venue. Bastards. Animal Hospital was incredibly beautiful. TGRH made me gyrate like none other. And The Assailant helped to end the show off right.
A Pina Coloda dance party was scheduled for the evening's entertainment, but confusion over the party site and ultimate laziness/tiredness of all involved resulted in tofu burritos and talks of space and the diet of wizards.
The next morning turned to afternoon before we awoke and headed out to Seattle. The show that night lacked the attendance numbers I was expecting, especially for Seattle. Instead of visiting the Lusty Lady, we ate some food and headed back to Dick's for a night of chit-chat and the viewing of a terrible Japanese movie. The next morning the guys headed out over the snowy passes and myself back to my home.
