Yep, there's a pub like that in my town. The structure was sound but in the end they just pulled it down anyway because even boarded up, fights kept breaking out there. They've just built flats where it used to be. I'm waiting for the first domestic incident there...

Buildings that have a type of behaviour so entrenched in them that it doesn't matter what you do, the same behaviour just keeps going over the centuries? The phenomenon's pretty well known...

Pubs are odd creatures. There is one in Podlington that has managed to change it's tune from a place I was told never to go into when I showed up to the trendiest pub in town. I suspect voodoo magic and an excorsism.
