My Sassy Girl review
IMO, this movie wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Maybe because it's because I've not seen enough of korean movies to get used to the style they make it, I don't know. It just wasn't that good. I mean, there was a plot and everything, but I found that some things were just happening... because they just did. For me, that's not a good enough explanation as to why exactly a certain scene playing. Also, I found that there wasn't enough comedy. I mean seriously, this movie was ranked second in 2001 for comedy? Errmmm... well. If this is comedy, then I don't know what a real comedy would be like. I mean, there was only one scene where it actually made me laugh, when the guy answers the phone pretending to be an operator. There were just too many coincidences happening too.
I dunno... maybe I'm just pissed off. I was looking forward to the scene where the girl and the guy have a conversation about why the sky was blue, why the sun shines etc etc. It was on the IMDB website. But the thing is, it wasn't in the movie. I am certain I didn't miss a scene; I didn't go on any washroom breaks or anything. I sat through it all. But how come that scene didn't play?!
Anyways, I'll elaborate later. I have to finish up some homework right now and it's due tomorrow.
