The day the world was reborn in my eyes.
These last few days have been interesting. Cole has been hanging out an abnormal ammount. I think he might be ill. Hmmm...anyway, I got back into Magic. Went in on two boxes. Played some yesterday with Paul, Eric, Brandon, and Cole. Went to the Mall last night and picked up a pair of new shoes. Geoff Rowley "Off tha Walls" which rock. I've wanted a pair for some time, now I don't. Also, I hacked the day before yesterday with Brandon and became very irritated with myself. I almost quit hacking then and there. I couldn't pull off a quadrupal (<--spelling?) jester which really irritated me. I tried so hard...all for nothing. Oh, well I guess. Gotta set high standards. Hacked yesterday also with Peavey and Brandon. Started raining the second we started. Wonderful. Hid under a tree...rain only fell on me...awesome...
Meanwhile in Manhattan:
Got a job, kinda. The Carpet Barn said they could use me monday, tuesday, and wednesday of this coming week. I'll make $8 dollars an hour in cash which is excellent. Then, they said they'd see what happens from there. Hopefull, I will be hired on full-time. The more trades I learn, the higher rate for my success. Also, I've helped Jeff on side-jobs in the past so it's not like I'm heading into this with a blindfold.

I can tell this is going to be a rough day. Eric's alarm clock went off at 7:15 this morning. He had to be to work by 8...no problem, right? WRONG! Little did I know, Eric would lie in bed until 7:50...with the alarm continuing to go off at 10 min. intervals!!! ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME!?!?! I wanted to kill someone, but I wanted a breakfast sandwhich this morning too. Lucky...lucky...lucky...
