Oh god...funniest thing to fucking happen...well in a long time.
here goes.
I was woken by my mother this morning at like 5;45 thinking "wow thats weird...I set the ipod up to wake me at 5:00" ... strange... Sooo I got outta bed and dressed and all that jazzy snazz. Then I go to grab the ipod and leave...but it was hot so I look and the screen is frozen, starting some song on my playlist thats set for the alarm playlist...the hardrive would start up spin for a moment then stop...screen completely locked up...pushing buttons did nothing. Soo I freaked out but mom was bitching about being late so I left it plugged in, spinning and went to school. I speant the majority of the day freaking out about it and complaining to anyone who would listen...cause you all know my music is my life...and 20 GBs of un-backed up music lost? Thats a travisty. Thats grounds for suicide right there. Soo I conned jojo into taking me home so I could try to fix it. Luckily it was a half day, outta uniform, 20 min classes...it went by quickley. I speant most of the time in the art room hand painting those god damn silk flowers for the shikisai crown...*shakes angry fist at ID Japan and Bou* ... But yeah. Got home and read the ipod help pages. They say hold down select and menu to reset the ipod. So I did that...and the apple came on and I thought "Hot damn! its saved!" and then pops up this lil ipod with "x"s for eyes and a sad face...and it has the website address for the ipod support page. and then I'm all "oh shit...its really dead" sooo I went there and it says to put it in disk mode or something...I tried that...no luck. All I would get would be the dead ipod logo. Sooo I was reading the help forums and one guy had said he had the same problems and a girl responded with "yeah me too, but then I dropped it on the carpet and it worked just fine" ... and I was thinking thats bull shit...but I kept reading and nothing else worked...service fees are over 100 dollars... sooo I figured I've dropped it before, if its dead its dead, whats one more lil drop? So I go into the living room, held it at arms length...closed my eyes and let it go. Pick it up, turn it on...it works.
HOLY SHIT PEOPLE!
Seriously now...like the best mp3 player around...and you can fix it by dropping it.
Allright...soo that made my day. Had BBQ chicken pizza and watched Law and Order and wasted most of the day while backing up my ipod...duh? haha yup. Got an email from Rie too! She offered to buy me the An Cafe DVD while at the concert and to give Bou a letter at the event. soo happyness for the shmee. I hope that works out. I figured she would agree...but mer...I was just..unsure. Anyways... its late. Laird is a jerk and assigned us a Unit 4/hamlet quiz with 2 weeks to read all the material at the same time we were assigned the ready of three novels....wtf? does he think I can read a novel a day? Does he think I have no life? no other work?
I also tried to teach Roger the fur elise...hes getting it..kinda. ^^; Its cute. Nikka is comin out tomorrow night so I'm excited. ^-^ *happy prance*
