I used to hate memes..
But they are just about the only thing I really find appealing about LJ anymore.. Besides, this one is kinda' fun. Leave it up to rhole to get me to do a meme.

Naruto
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I heard so much about this anime back in the day, but it seemed kinda' moot and meh to me at the time. That was until I was listening to GGR (Gamer Girl Radio, that is..) one day on Live365 (wolfwitch got me hooked on it when she mentioned it played good music to clean house to and it turned out to have a near perfect mix of anime AND game music to it.) and one night I heard "Wind" by Akeboshi.. I looked at the player window to check it out, saw it was from Naruto, and that finally drew me in to the anime.
02: Do you think that you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I dunno if I've EVER been a full fandom of anything except Air Gear, but I might have moved on from Naruto already. Though I literally watched the first 130 episodes straight beginning to end in 10 hour shifts for about a week.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Hrm.. I'd have to say it was probably the episode where Choji finally popped the 3rd food pellet thing and went all uber omfg hardcore. I kinda' crushed on the Choji for a while after that <3.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
If I had the chance to, I'd totally cosplay Asuma at a convention. That's about it tho'
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Doubtful. It's like other people have said; it's not going anywhere anytime soon. But it's definitely worth checking out if by SOME CHANCE IN A FROZEN OVER HELL you've not seen any of it and are an anime fan.
Chobits:
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Seiaidorei mentioned being all sad in the fact that the Chobits manga was over, so that sparked my interest in it a bit. One night on the way home from work, I swung by this comic shop that had JUST started stocking manga, and Chobits was one of the few series titles they had there out of like, 5. I picked up the first one and fell in love with it.
02: Do you think that you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I've moved on from this one again; or was I ever really fully into it? I dunno. I'll always have very specific happy memories about it though. The times staying at my friend's place in Louisville; hanging out at the Stadium at the Pump It Up machine reading the latest volume while everyone else was dancin' *nod* I'll ALWAYS wish I had a persocom.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I can't remember which volume it was, but it's the one where Hideki takes Chi to be evaluated and she fries one of his best persocoms and he was trying to hold back full blown, WTF!?!?! moments.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Nope. Most of the fans have also moved on it seems.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Clamp fans probably already are all over it, but if someone starts up into any Clamp project and hasn't touched Chobits yet, I think it could use a little more love than what it gets nowadays.
Read or Die:
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Keels and her anime collection got me into ROD. That and the concept was unlike anything I had ever seen before.
02: Do you think that you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I dunno if I was ever reallllly into the fandom for ROD, but I know still to this day I still find myself flinging business cards at people and then grimacing with vile malice when they don't neatly slide apart into 3 different pieces.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I completely and totally love ROD through and through.. um.. gah.. that question is kinda' hard for ROD...
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
If by randomly saying "THE PAAPER!" and throwing business cards at people counts, then yes.
