WRITER'S BLOCK!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! I got effin' writer's block!

I'm attempting to write a play/short play, I'm about 20 pages into it, and now I'm stuck. I'm trying to set up a scene where two characters discuss their pasts. I want this scene to be deep, to really show off these character's personalities, but now I can't think of how to start it! I can imagine where they are, and I know where I want the scene to go, but for the life of me, my brain refuses to think of the dialog.

I'm impatient to finish this play, but I must remind myself that if I take my time on it, I'll ensure that it's solid and not just another one of those things you start when you're bored. The idea and plot ARE solid, and I can do so much with it, I just have to think about it more and prepare myself for the next time my mind clears up so I can just let it flow.

If your curious, the play is centered around a locked room in Grandfather's house. Xavier and Savier (two brothers) become extremely curious about what lies behind the locked door. Grandfather tells them to be patient and that soon they'll be allowed in the room, but Savier cannot contain himself any longer. One night, when Grandfather goes into the room, Savier decides to slip in under his arm to see for himself the secrets of the room. Grandfather catches Savier in the room, but by the time he does, it's already too late. The next morning, Dolly (Xavier and Savier's sister) wakes up Xavier in a panic. Grandfather and Savier didn't come down to breakfast, nor can they be found anywhere in the house, but more importantly, the room that is ALWAYS locked is ajar. Dolly tells Xavier that an eerie feeling is pouring out of the room and that she dared not to enter it. Xavier tells Dolly that there is no need to worry, but Dolly tells Xavier to look at the window. Xavier does so and finds that the house has been swallowed by a thick reddish-yellow fog. Now Xavier and Dolly are convinced that whats been happening is due to the room, and they decide to see what's inside. Xavier and Dolly arm themselves with toy swords and armor just incase, and it's a good thing that they did. Right before they reach the room, shadows begin to come alive and chase them down the hallway, then all of a sudden the lights go out, there's a struggle, and then Xavier finds that Dolly is missing once the lights come up again. A voice rings in the air, "Look where you are, my dear, dear friend. The bait has been set, the line has been cast, but will the fish come?" Xavier knows the voice is talking about what is inside the room, so he musters all his strength and bursts into the room only to find a tall, narrow mirror staring back at him. He inches closer to the mirror, so close that his breath sticks to the glass. He reaches out his hand and touches the mirror, and this is where the adventure begins.

The beginning is like The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but I promise you it's nothing like that. It goes much, much more further and deeper...it's just that...this one part...I don't know what to write at the moment. If any of you want to read the script, let me know, but I sure as hell aint going to post it online.
