(no subject)
Well, we sure got enough rain last night. I could barely see where I was going on my way to my Gram's because it was raining so hard. By the time the rain cleared up a bit, the traffic was still moving so slow, so you couldn't get anywhere anyway. It usually takes me about 10 or 15 minutes to get to my Gramma's from my house, but last night it took about 35. I was supposed to go see Signs with Chris and Tim, but they decided they didn't want to go anymore so I went to see it with Kyle when he got out of work. When we got the the Lowes, we saw Morgan, this girl we used to work with at TJ Maxx. I miss that girl, she was my best friend at the store. Anyway, the movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It was kinda predictable, it was only scary for about 5 minutes, and the aliens looked so low-budget. It wasn't bad though. It was better than sitting at home alone doing nothing. I got home at around 2 and tried to go to sleep. I ended up tossing and turning for a while. First it was too hot so I turned on the air conditioner. Then it was too cold, so I turned it off. Then I was still too cold so I got up to get another blanket and a warm pair of pants. Then the pillow was too flat so I got another and that one was too thick and I had to get another one. Finally at about 5:00 I started to doze off. At about 5:30, I'm awakened to "meOOOOOOOOOOOw, meOOOOOOOOOOOOw." The cat came up stairs and cried for about 10 minutes straight to be fed. GRR. So I get up again, feed the cat, go back to bed. Ah, I could sleep now! I figured I was safe because I couldn't be woken up by the phone cuz I turned the ringer off before I went to bed. Well, I was wrong. At about 8:30 the answering machine picked up twice I was woken up by some obnoxious telemarketer's voice leaving a message. I fall back to sleep, had like 2 really weird dreams, then woke up at about 10:30 and decided to get out of bed and do the dished and some laundry. I'm still in the process of doing that now. Hopefully I'll be done with all my laundry by like 3 so I can start getting ready for my family's dinner reservations at 6. My mom's whole side of the family... We usually make dinner reservations for all of us (the 20 of us) often, and it's usually not so bad, but I'll let ya know how it went when I get home tonight.
