Congrats to baby Laura's parents....
My lungs are really bad here but the food makes up for it. Next week is the Golden Week. It's a week long celebration of... Communisim! Ha ha. Or at least it's celebrating the day that China turned Communist. I somehow doubt that this holiday will be around for much longer as communism is barely clutching on anymore (although just as deadly in those last dying blows).
It's so interesting to observe life here. Sometimes things seem just peachy, serene... almost. Then you kind of catch your breath and notice the lack of pregnant women, the absence of anyone with special needs (not including ones earned later in life), how all children are only children, just how many more males there are here than females and certain other things.
